Santa Fe Nursing School

Would you like to enroll in Santa Fe’s Nursing Program?

Santa Fe has a points system they use to determine who will qualify for entry into their LPN or RN programs. It is an extremely competitive process and most candidates get turned away or are put on a waiting list. It is highly recommended that all the possible points be earned before submitting an application. If you have a CNA certificate from an approved training program, you get 15 points on your LPN application and 5 points on your RN application. Without these points, it is virtually impossible to gain entry into their program.

What’s an approved training program? It has to be approved by the Board of Nursing and the Commission of Independent Education and be at least 120 hours in length. Included in that 120 hours is at least 40 hours in a nursing home or home health setting.

The 40-hour exam prep class is not an approved training program, but the 40 hours you spent in class can count towards the 120 hours. You just need to do 40 hours more classroom work in our Gainesville office and 40 hours more in various clinical sites. These additional 80 hours can be done in as little as 3 weeks.

The cost for the program is $949. If you’ve already paid your $409 towards the Exam Prep class, the balance would be $490.
