This class accomplishes the same goal as the Nursing Assistant Exam Prep Class, except you learn the theory on your own (online), and only come in for skills training.
There is an on-line portion of this class which can be completed at any time. The classroom portion will be on a Saturday and Sunday (you must go both days) from 8 am-4 pm.
Classes must have a minimum of 4 students, and are subject to being cancelled if this minimum is not met.
You must complete the online portion before you will be scheduled for the classroom hours. Paying the $529 starts the process only. If other students complete their online portion before you, it may be possible you will be switched to the next class session. If you cannot complete the online portion in the first couple of days after registering for the class, please do not apply.
What is covered:
If you are a college student (current or finished), and on a health care track, then maybe this class is the one for you. Basically, you do all the theory part of the CNA class on-line, take an on-line test, and if you pass, you come in for two intense days of skills training.
What’s the difference between this and the regular CNA exam prep class? Really, it’s the same thing, only much much faster. For some people, it’s just not going to work, and the regular class will be a better choice.
Complete the theory portion on-line, and after passing final exam, call us to schedule your clinical days. The clinical part will be on a Saturday and Sunday from 8-4 each day. You must come to both days, and be prepared to be very busy the entire time. Look at the schedule below for available times.
Right now, this option is only available in Destin, Fort Myers, and Gainesville. However, if you have 4 or more people who will take the class, we’ll offer it anywhere, around your schedule.
Our normal CNA classes are intense, but everything is at a much slower pace. This is perfect for the student with a busy schedule who mainly needs help with the hands-on portion of the CNA exam.
Click on the “Enroll” button, fill out the online application, pay and then follow the directions to complete the theory part of the class.
The cost of the class is $529, which includes your class, book, and state exam fee. The package price with CPR and First Aid will be $619. It is the exact same price as the normal CNA exam prep class. It does not include the background fee or fingerprinting fees required by the testing company. These change from time to time, but are usually about $85.Because of the nature of this class, you must pay the entire $529 fee before registering (i.e. no deposits).
Your exam fee is included in your $529 . Express Training Services does not administer the exam. A group called Prometric does, and because they are an outside company, we don’t know when your exam date will be. We will try to time it so your exam is soon after the class, but it’s a very inexact science.
Must be either in or completed college on a health career track.
